In this very entertaining talk, Daniel Steinberg reflects on Swift’s first two years and how the community reacted to it. The main takeaway for me is that we as a community would do well to strive for less drama and take more time to pause, reflect, and empathize. (Duh!)

I love the pacing of this talk. Daniel controls the audience’s reaction through well-timed pauses and slide transitions. Saying nothing can be way more powerful than repeating what’s already on your slides.
