I removed Songtext from the App Store
As of today, Songtext is no longer available as I just removed it from the App Store.
Unfortunately, this also means that there will be no updates for existing users in the foreseeable future. Sorry.
I want to thank everybody who has downloaded Songtext in the last 2 weeks for your support and positive feedback. I hope you still enjoy using the app.
Definitely disappointed by this decision. I hope you change your mind. I had some suggestions I was going to email you. :(

I hope you reconsider development on this app. I have started using TuneWiki because of the scrolling text feature.
TuneWiki has an absolutely awful interface, though the ability to re-time sync the lyrics is pretty cool.
Do you realize the potential of your application and the money that could be made? The existing lyrics apps all suck!

Thanks a lot Cris. I do realize the potential of my app but a comeback is unlikely unless it is completely clear to me that the music industry has no problem with this usage of the lyrics. No matter how convinced I might be that my app does nothing wrong, I just do not like the idea of living for months or years with the risk of an argument with the music industry.
